What we do
Everything on the side of the lorry
The grab loads itself from where the waste sits, so you're not barrowing to a skip or waiting a week for a swap. The same lorry brings the stone back in.

Footing spoil, excavations, garden digs and old patios cleared straight off site and taken to licensed tips and recycling.

Marc Gee
The BossFounded Marc Gee Grab Hire in March 2022 and has held the final say on every job, every lorry and every biscuit in the yard ever since. Rarely photographed without a dog. The dogs report directly to him.
Logan
DriverKeeps the lorries moving and the jobs on time. Brings the same focus to a full English as he does to the grab controls. Has never been known to leave a site, or a plate, unfinished.
Liam
DriverSurveys every job from the highest available point, usually the top of the lorry. Also designed the bulldog logo and this website, so any complaints about either go to him.
Dean
DriverVery little is known about Dean. He arrives, he works, he leaves the site spotless, and he is gone. Customers have named him in reviews, yet no photograph of him has ever been captured.
Grab vs skip
Why a grab beats a skip
For a big dig or a messy site, a grab lorry usually works out quicker, cleaner and cheaper per tonne. You don't wait days for a skip to arrive, fill it by hand, then wait again for it to go. The lorry turns up, the grab loads it, and it's gone.
When a skip still makes sense: if you're clearing small bits over a few weeks, or there's nowhere a lorry can pull up. Not sure which you need? Send us a photo and we'll tell you straight.
- Building and extensions. Footings and foundation spoil cleared as you dig, so the site stays workable.
- New driveways and patios. We take the old surface and soil away, then bring the Type 1 back in.
- Garden clearances. Hedges, stumps, turf and green waste lifted straight over the fence.
- Tight access. Terraced houses, back gardens and busy sites where a skip won't fit.
One grab lorry often clears what would take two or three skips, in one visit, with nothing left on the road.
